I’m reluctant to call it the official name, “The Tour of Eagle” because the past two years this race has been a single criterium held on Friday night. It’s still a lot of fun because it’s part of the Eagle Fun Days so there’s lots of spectators who come to downtown Eagle to watch the event while partaking of all the other festivities.

Heather raced first and had a decent race. She won two primes and got third in the end. My race didn’t go so well as I’ve been feeling slightly overtrained lately. As my race stats can attest, I was lacking in the power department! But I still managed to hang on for the whole race and enjoy the atmosphere. There were no crashes in either of our races…another bonus!
