With family in town, Heather and I decided to play hooky today. We’re planning to go to the Western Idaho Fair with my sister and her kids, but since we’re skipping work, we wanted to get in a good ride in before the activities. We did the Emmett–Horseshoe Bend loop with Dan. We headed out at 7:00 AM. There was some cloud cover that kept it nice and cool for most of the ride. We even got sprinkled on as we went through Horseshoe Bend. Power was good during the intervals and I had my best time and wattage so far on Old Horseshoe Bend Hill. Overall it was a tough ride with an intensity factor of .83 for a 3 hour 12 minute ride. Solid workout!
