I went on a nice ride today with Dan and Brent. With the Emmett-Roubaix race tomorrow, I didn’t want to do anything too long or too hard so riding with a couple non-racer types was perfect. We chatted a lot…mostly me spewing about training with a power meter.

We headed out west towards Middleton then came back on Purple Sage. On the way back we saw a cool dust devil. We ended up stopping so could take a crappy picture with my Treo camera-phone. Most of the ride was at a JRA pace (just riding along) but on the way back I did my typical pre-race pushes on Beacon light. The pushes felt good and I’m excited to maybe have some semblance of form for tomorrow’s race!
