This was the first morning of the year I could hear birds singing outside. It was like they knew spring was in the air…and they were right! It got up to a whopping 56°F today! So I took advantage of the weather and went out for sweet ride.
There was a steady wind but since I did mostly LT and Tempo work, so I didn’t mind. It helps to have some resistance for those types of efforts. I ended up doing a 1×60 minute LT interval and then rode tempo home. I met up with fellow Lost River Cycling club member, Rex S., on Beacon Light and we chatted for a while. Then I picked it up for a final six minute push to Eagle Road. It was a great workout, but I’m afraid I’m getting spoiled and won’t like riding indoors when the Mother Nature gives us her last gasp of winter!
