20071129crop20071129lt2Today I did another LT workout where I varied my cadence during the intervals. I shifted every minute on the first interval and decided to change it to every two minutes during the second one so I only had one progression through the gears (pictured). Since I still felt good after that one, I did a third interval, but in a smaller range of gears and only shifting once every few minutes. I really picked up my power during the last five minutes pulling my average wattage for that one to 289. I probably need to re-test my Functional Threshold Power (FTP) as I think it’s higher than my current estimate of 280 watts.
