Uhl and I rode the time trial course with my teammates Kele, Chrissy, and Lauren Gaffney on Tuesday. Rick was nice and drove sag for us. We all rode our time trial bikes, so we could make sure they worked and see what kind of gearing we needed for the time trial. My time trial bike usually has 56-42 chainrings on it. However, I made Uhl put the 53-39 on the time trial bike, due to the climbs. After riding the course, we decided that the 56-42 with a 12-25 cogset would be the best setup for the time trial. I was so glad that Uhl was there to be my mechanic and make all the changes that I needed. Uhl helped my teammates get set up on their bikes, and he helped with technical information on how to best ride the course.
